Individual valuation comes first. There is no such thing like a manual when it comes to dealing with live beings and dogs are not the exception.

During the Personalized Dog Training Program, we talk about your wishes, goals and what you are expecting from your animal; we then develop a tailored plan after having observed and assessed current routines, habits, and your own home set up.

Although modification through education is possible in most cases, sometimes a therapeutic behavior support might be required if there is a history of significant challenges. That means many "issues" can be resolved very fast, while certain subjects might require more work and patience - always depending on the individual dog (and his/her owner). We teach your dog the ABCs of training, commands, and behavior modification. We then use training exercises with gradually increasing levels of difficulty to achieve reliable and sustainable results. Furthermore, we will provide tips and offer suggestions for mental and physical exercise.

Building up a strong, healthy relationship with your dog is the priority at Dogs ABC.

Single session: 149 € / 2 hours plus travel

2 weeks training program // 6 sessions of 1 hour: 490 € with interesting upgrade options

Dog training for me is taking the responsibility of education and consultancy.

To achieve an optimal result and for a successful dog training, I analyze and appraise the individual character of the dog and his/her living conditions. That means, a thorough observation of the dog´s entire environment including the dog, his/her behavior patterns and the owner or handler. After the basic analysis, we will define adequate measures and codes of conduct to be followed consequently right away. The desired results should be immediate and sustainable.

An educated dog is a happy, stable, and above all, a free dog since we can gradually reduce limits and teach boundaries to align his/her behavior with our expectations.

In general, the combination of love and affection, physical and mental stimulation and, exercise and discipline is what makes of your dog a happy and true companion, enriching your everyday life.

At DOGS ABC we have fun by increasing motivation automatically leading to better results. While migrating together, the more advanced will help your dog in the process and, as the new team member, your dog will be given the opportunity to observe and learn.

By removing the animal from a hectic environment and other elements of distraction, we increase his/her ability to focus making the education an easier and relaxed process. Once the dog has established a friendly relationship with his/her handler, teaching a relaxed walk on leash, a reliable "stop", "come" or "sit" and some other basics of the DOGS ABC should be seamless.

A thought about "positive reinforcement": This technique of course is a core element of our methodology, but not exclusively. Correcting and helping the dog when showing an undesired behavior is also part of our educational concept. Every dog is unique, it is important to be flexible and intuitive while applying the right measures of discipline at the correct timing. Only through that, we will be able to achieve a desired and lasting learning effect in the vast variety of dog characters.

After successful years in IT, Bjoern started to work as a certified dog trainer and behavior consultant in 2012.

Bjoern has since, engaged in extensive studies on human and animal psychology and ethology. Today, he constantly attends courses and seminars,on world class level with trainers like Tylor Muto, Robert Cabral, Blake Rodriguez and, Thomas Baumann, his mentor and friend, who is the most recognized dog behavioral expert in Germany. Baumann is also known for staying on top of state-of the-art research and his passion to rehabilitate "difficult" and reactive dogs.

Bjoern applies his wide theoretical knowledge into his daily practice using established project management principles. His intuition and flexibility in operation help him in assessing and tailoring individual training plans, implementing and adjusting them as needed to achieve the desired results.
